Save the Date: Collegiate Fit Philly Is Coming This November
Jul 28, 2026
Mark your calendar for Saturday, November 7, 2026. Something new is coming to the Northeast, and it was built with collegiate fitness pros and students in mind.
Collegiate Fit Philly is a one-day, high-energy education experience for the people who bring collegiate fitness to life. Group fitness instructors, personal trainers, campus recreation staff, graduate assistants, emerging student leaders, and the pros who support them will come together for a full day of hands-on learning, coaching, connection, and continuing education. It is happening at the Pottruck Health and Fitness Center at the University of Pennsylvania, right in the heart of Philadelphia.
Why we are doing this
For too long, collegiate fitness professionals and students across the Northeast have had to travel far and pay a lot for quality continuing education. We wanted to change that. In partnership with City 6, the network of Philadelphia area schools celebrating its 40th year, we are creating an event that is accessible, affordable, and genuinely energizing. This is about getting better at your craft, growing your confidence, finding your people, and bringing it all back to your campus.
What to expect
A full day designed to move. Opening sessions to kick things off, pro-led and peer-led breakout sessions, workout classes and interactive workshops, a lunch keynote, and networking built into the day. Attendees will have the chance to earn continuing education credits (pending approval) from ACE, NASM, AFAA, and IFTA. There is also an optional pre-conference on Friday, November 6, with certification options and a Career Boot Camp built for students.
Want to present?
Some of the best sessions come from people just like you. We are opening a call for presentation proposals, and both students and pros are welcome to lead a breakout. Peer-led or pro-led, first-time presenters are encouraged. If you have something that is working on your campus or in your practice, we want to hear it. Proposals open July 29 and are due September 8, and submission details will be posted at collegiatefitphilly.com.
Who it is for
Student fitness staff first, and everyone around them. Instructors, trainers, floor staff, and student leaders. The directors and coordinators who support them. Students studying, or curious about, movement and exercise science. And fit pros from the surrounding community. If you love this work, this day is for you.
